Jewellery Care:

How do I take care of my jewellery?

To prolong life of your plated jewelry, avoid wearing it while sleeping exercising, bathing, and in pool/spa. It's best to avoid contact with water and lotions. To store your piece, place it in an airtight baggie to prevent it from oxidizing. 

 

Does the jewelry tarnish?

All our jewelry is handmade with high quality materials. As our pieces are not solid gold, our plated fashion jewelry can tarnish depending on customer care, environmental conditions/lifestyle and your skin's natural acidity levels, which can affect the metals. The acidity and moisture levels of your skin, which varies for everyone, can lead to early tarnishing. That being said, it is very rare that we have these issues.

 

How much can I adjust an adjustable ring?

For adjustable rings, sometimes the movement can cause the crystals to become loose. We highly recommend setting the size and adjusting it as little as possible.

 

What are the pieces made of?

The materials of specific pieces are all in the item description. All our jewellery is handmade from high quality materials. Most pieces are plated with either 14k-16k Gold, Rhodium, or Rose Gold on 92.5 Sterling Silver or Brass.

Earrings posts are made from 92.5 Sterling Silver or Titanium.

How do I know what my ring size is?

All our sizes are in US sizing. The most accurate way is simply to go down to your local jeweller and get your finger sized. However, feel free to try out this printable ring sizer to measure your finger. :)

Do you offer gift packaging?

All our jewelry is gift ready, packaged in a StatementGrey Gift Pouch or Gift Box. If you have any special packaging requests, please make a note in the order at checkout or send us an email (StatementGrey.etsy@gmail.com).

NOTE: All earrings are already packaged in gift boxes for extra protection during shipping. 

  

What currency are the prices in?

All prices are in CANADIAN DOLLAR (CAD) but can be changed to your country's currency in the top right corner.

 

Returns & Exchanges:

Can I return an item?

If you are unhappy with your purchase and would like to return it, we would be happy to credit back to you or refund within 30 days of the shipping date. Returned items must be unworn and in new condition. Items not in original new condition will not be eligible for refund or exchange.

* Earrings cannot be returned or exchanged for hygiene reasons.

All shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. Shipping cost associated with sending your refund back will be the responsibility of the customer.

 

Can I return an item bought from a store location?

At this time, we are not able to offer refund or exchanges for items bought from a store front location.

 

I received a broken item, what do I do?

We do hand make and hand check each piece of jewelry with love and care.  If you do receive a defected item, shoot us an email at StatementGrey.etsy@gmail.com within 3 days of receiving the item with a photo and we will do our best to resolve the situation on a case by case basis. 

 

The piece broke while I was wearing it, what do I do? 

We do hand make and hand check each piece of jewelry with love and care.  If the item does break, we would be happy to repair the item for you, just shoot us an email with a photo so we can send you a repair quote. Repair fees and shipping costs would be of the responsibility of the customer.

We ship from our home studio in beautiful Coquitlam, Canada.

 

When will my order arrive?

All depending on the shipping option you choose and the distance from Vancouver, Canada. See Shipping Options here.

 

Do you offer local pick up?

Yes, the 'Local Pickup' option is available at checkout. Please send us an email or include a “Order Special Instructions” note with requested pick up date and time. We typically need about 24 hours to have orders ready. Our pick ups are usually left in our mailbox for customers to pick up at their convenience.
